The Charity We Support - POhWER
We believe that all complainants should be heard, irrespective of their personal circumstances. We know that many complainants find it difficult to make an effective complaint. We have made a commitment to POhWER (www.pohwer.net) that we will contribute some of the proceeds of our business to support their work.
- POhWER is an independent advocacy charity committed to giving power to individual voices.
- POhWER recognises the inequality which exists in society and works to promote respect and dignity for all by extending its services to enable access for those who face discrimination or prejudice, or feel disempowered.
- POhWER’s services are available to individuals who want the support of an advocate to speak up for their rights, access information and/or say what they want about the services they receive or require. This includes health, housing, care, community and legal services.
