Coaching

Coaching offers a way for your senior complaints staff to improve both their complaint handling and interpersonal skills through one to one learning and support.

Many senior staff dealing with complaints operate alone and feel unsupported. One to one work with an expert from outside of the organisation is a highly effective way of improving the performance of these key individuals.

Coaching:

is tailored to the needs of the individual, taking account of his/her knowledge and experience.
takes account of the context of your organisation and the environment in which s/he works.
enables the development work to be focused on specific objectives covering both skills and behaviours.
is structured, but can be delivered flexibly to fit in with busy diaries.
provides a context in which the individual can analyse situations and plan actions, and then review experience.
provides personal space and support which enable growth and development.

Coaching will take place at regular intervals over an agreed period and the coach will monitor and assess progress. Coaching generates measurable learning and performance outcomes.
