Our reports and recommendations

Our report to you will:

clearly set out whether we consider the complaint to be justified and the impact of any failing on the complainant.
contain all the information necessary to support our analysis and conclusions.
where we identify failings, include recommendations, to provide a remedy for the complainant and to help you take action to avoid a recurrence.
be sent to you, because you have commissioned the work from us. We hope that you will then want to send the report to the complainant, together with your own decisions on the action you propose to take as a result of the investigation.

You have chosen us for our expertise and independence. Whilst therefore you will have every opportunity to comment on our provisional analysis and conclusions, our final report to you will represent our conclusions, justified and evidence based. We are confident that our reports will persuade you of the validity of our findings.

We will only retain an anonymised copy of our report to you.
